The house is in the heart of a tranquil medieval hilltop village in Abruzzo Italy whose inhabitants total 500. 43km from Pescara airport (daily Ryanair flights from Stansted), The village is called Bisenti in the province of Teramo and is one of those quintessentially Italian villagios with cobbled streets and Romeo & Juliet balconies. Its centrepiece is a 14th century church whose bells can be heard from wherever you are in the village. The house is a few minutes walk from a local supermarket, bank and post office as well as a number of quality eating establishments. The public swimming pool, accessible between June and September, is a mere 5 minute walk from the house. This house which borders a national park, is 45 minutes from a ski resort, Prati di Tivo, and 40 minutes from the beach and, it is ideally situated for walking and trekking holidays. Use of car is recommended to reach the village but once there, everything is conveniently to hand. The house is ideal for a short ski break or just to get away and relax in this quiet and peaceful property.
